PHOENIX, AZ – Citizens for Free Enterprise today released a new video showing how the White House’s top Bidenomics advisors are in over their heads. The video, titled “Bidenomics Experts At Work”, features clips from Biden Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen predicting that inflation would not be a persistent issue. It also includes clips from Jared Bernstein, the President’s chair of the Council of Economic Advisors, who struggles to answer basic questions about the role of the Federal Reserve in the U.S. financial system.
“President Biden and the White House get so many economic forecasts wrong that it would put the local weatherman to shame,” said Citizens for Free Enterprise Executive Director J.P. Twist. “It’s no wonder why the vast majority of Americans do not trust President Biden on the economy, he keeps listening to the same so-called experts that have been wrong at every turn. The only way to fix the American economy is to put an end to Bidenomics.”
Since President Biden took office, prices have risen by 19.4% and inflation has been at or above 3% for 36 straight months, peaking at 9.1%. New polling from swing states underscores voters’ concerns over “Bidenomics” with 70% saying that the economy is headed in the wrong direction.
This comes as President Biden has faced criticism for falsely claiming that inflation was at 9% when he came into office, when in reality inflation was at 1.4% when President Biden took office.
