PHOENIX, AZ – Citizens for Free Enterprise released the following statement in response to the Arizona State Legislature passing the Tamale Freedom Bill and sending it to the Governor’s desk for a signature:
“The Tamale Freedom bill will open doors for entrepreneurial home cooks to turn their passion into a paycheck, creating more opportunities for Arizonans to work, earn a living, and grow their home business,” said JP Twist, Executive Director of Citizens for Free Enterprise. “Unfortunately, Governor Hobbs vetoed a similar measure last year and sent out a campaign email saying that the bill ‘did nothing to address the issues everyday Arizonans are facing’ — leading to a barrage of embarrassing headlines. Our message to Governor Hobbs: Do the right thing this time — sign it into law.”
