PHOENIX, AZ – Citizens for Free Enterprise released the following statement in response to the Arizona State Legislature advancing the Tipped Workers Protection Act out of the House Commerce Committee:
“Arizona is fortunate to have a thriving restaurant industry that adds to the culture of our state and creates high-quality jobs in our communities,” said JP Twist, Executive Director of Citizens for Free Enterprise. “The Tipped Workers Protection Act will ensure the local restaurants and their employees are protected from extreme activists that are girding to decimate the industry, kill good paying jobs, and hurt consumers by eliminating tip credit.”
