Jesse Wasil took his passion for off-roading and shared it through his company Summit 4×4. He didn’t anticipate the success he saw by sharing his love for exploring.
Jesse’s Passion: From the time he can remember, Jesse has been interested in off-roading. In 2012, he turned his passion into a business when he opened Summit 4×4 in Prescott, Arizona. His business saw tremendous growth in 2020 during Covid, and has continued to stay strong and prosperous since.
- “If we had boundaries that we were confined to that didn’t allow us to fulfill those wishes or requirements of our customers. We wouldn’t be where we’re at. To be able to make those decisions, those calls, based off of our customers’ needs is what allows us to be successful.”
Boost the Local Economy: Jesse believes that giving back to his community is part of his entrepreneurial spirit. He is especially proud that his business is able to create jobs for the people in his community. Summit 4×4 employs nearly 40 people in Prescott, Arizona.
- “For a small mom and pop shop and an entrepreneur, I think that’s a huge success right there to be able to provide income for local families as well.”
Why Free Enterprise Matters to Jesse: “Free Enterprise means to me the ability to provide a service that I am passionate about and that our customers are passionate about. The ability to be able to wake up and pretty much do what we want to do for the good of our community and for the good of the industry is huge.”
